Christopher Brookmyre 2

Still reading this. Now that he's stopped dick-waving and got into some proper plot it's much better. Not great, but much better.

What the fuck was that first 60 or so pages all about? Sheer crap, totally unnecessary. It's like the fat girl in the short skirt or the old guy with the trendy haircut. Do they not have any friends to tell them the truth?

Fibonacci poems

Was thinking as I was driving back up to my weekday address tonight that I explained what the Fibonacci sequence was, but not what Fibonacci poems are.

They adopt the same 1 1 2 3 5 8 pattern, with that number of syllables in each line. So:

God is all in the mind (and the body)

Sex
leaves
bodies
glistening
provocatively,
transubstantiationally

(bit of a rarity, the title is 50% longer than the piece...)

It doesn't have to be just one word in each line of course, that was just me being a smartarse. It's the syllables that count.

Have a go, but be warned it's like su doku, it's completely addictive...
